Injury Prevention and Ergonomist
I utilize my experience from Occupational Therapy, Hand Therapy and Exercise Science for injury prevention and ergonomic consulting. As a health care professional skilled in prevention, ergonomic modifications, physical and psychosocial rehabilitation, I focus on empowering individuals to participate in productive and meaningful activities of daily life by collaborating with clients and caregivers.
As an Occupational Therapist, Certified Hand Therapist and Certified Industrial Ergonomics Evaluator, I can provide you with the concise information you need for your worker’s compensation and disability cases. I have been working in the industry for 17 years performing Functional Capacity Evaluations, working on job sites determining physical demands of jobs and treating worker’s compensation patients with upper extremity injuries.
I have worked with employers and treated employees in diverse businesses including manufacturing, fulfillment, construction/trades, meat processing, public service (police, firefighter, EMT), office work environments, and health care. Risk analysis helped improve the work environment and identified ways to minimize risks for the employees. Employees returned to work confident in their ability to safely and independently perform job duties.
