Disability Assessment Testing
Functional Capacity Evaluation
An assessment of functional ability in daily activities and work ability. Testing and written report includes information suitable for establishing baseline abilities for Disability Evaluations or overall Physical Demands for gainful employment.

This testing protocol determines the individual’s current ability level in relation to performing generalized activities of daily living (ADL) or work-related tasks. The examination consists of a brief musculoskeletal screen, material handling (lifting, carrying, pushing and/or pulling, etc.) and selected positional tolerance functions (walk, sit, stand, squat, kneel, etc.) that can help determine an overall ADL status and/or compare functional ability to job demands.

Consistency of effort and reliability of pain ratings assessments to determine if a client is putting forth consistent effort and whether their subjective pain ratings are reliable. Reliability and validity research supports the testing methods and withstands legal scrutiny.

Ergonomic and Job Site Analysis
Ergonomic consulting at diverse businesses including manufacturing, fulfillment, construction/trades, meat processing, public service (police, firefighter, EMT), office work environments, and health care.

Identifying improper workstation set up or design that is causing aches and pains, or potential risk factors. Immediate suggestions offered for corrective changes, stretches and potential equipment for improved posture and comfort. A written report with findings, recommendations, and resources is provided within three business days.
